Bano Amargo | Bitter Bath

$30.00

Bitter baths have been used for generations in Afro-Caribbean, Indigenous, and Latin American traditions to cut through spiritual heaviness, remove stagnant energy, and reset the body and spirit. Unlike sweet or white baths that draw blessings in, bitter baths are made to extract what no longer serves—clearing your path and making space for clarity, protection, and forward movement.

This 9-herb blend is designed for moments of spiritual congestion, emotional weight, or energetic interference—when life feels blocked, confusing, or heavy. It's also a powerful preparation tool before plant medicine ceremonies, spiritual initiations, or major transitions, allowing you to enter with clarity and spiritual cleanliness.

 Contains:

Spearmint, nettle, eucalyptus, mugwort, lobelia, ruda, quassia, yarrow, marshmallow root

When to Use a Bitter Bath:

  • Before a plant medicine journey or spiritual ceremony

  • After emotional upheaval, spiritual attack, or endings

  • During the waning moon or spiritually intense times

  • When you feel “off,” chronically tired, blocked, or unlucky

Ritual Instructions:

  1. Boil 3–4 tablespoons of the herb blend in 1–2 quarts of water for 15–20 minutes.

  2. Strain and let cool to a warm temperature.

  3. Stand or sit quietly, speaking your intention:
“I release what is not mine. I cut through confusion. I return to alignment.”

  4. Pour the bath slowly over your body from head to toe (or neck down), focusing on releasing tension, sorrow, fear, or negativity.

  5. Let the water air dry on your skin—do not towel off. Rest quietly afterward.

  6. Repeat for 3, 5, or 7 consecutive days for deeper clearing and spiritual reset.

Dispose of leftover herbs respectfully—in nature, at a crossroads, or into running water.
