Join us for a hands-on exploration of la sobada—an ancestral bodywork practice rooted in spiritual healing, energetic release, and deep somatic care. Traditionally used by midwives and curanderas throughout Latin America, sobadas are rhythmic, intentional massages used to move stagnant energy, restore balance, and tend to the emotional and spiritual body.
In this activation, we’ll dive into the spiritual and ancestral roots of la sobada, explore its use beyond womb work and into everyday healing, and practice using Botánica Yabisi’s infused herbal oils. This is a space to both learn the practice and receive it, honoring the sacred reciprocity of healer and healing.
