The Ceremonialists Pocket Altar
A ritual space you can carry with you.
The Ceremonialist’s Pocket Altar was created for folks on the go. Sometimes we are traveling, tending to someone outside of our own space, working in nature or simply need a small collection of tools that allows us to pause, prepare, open sacred space and listen.
Housed inside a portable metal tin, this altar contains foundational ritual tools for prayer, meditation, spiritual work and ceremony. Each piece can be worked with individually or arranged together to create a small working altar wherever you find yourself.
Inside your Pocket Altar:
Beeswax candles — for illumination, prayer, petition and tending the presence of Spirit.
Incense — for cleansing the space, shifting the atmosphere and marking the transition from the everyday into ritual.
Stone ally — for grounding, anchoring and bringing the mineral world into your altar.
Small glass vessel — to hold water, herbs, offerings, petitions or other medicines appropriate to your practice.
Pocket Prayer — a simple invocation for opening your altar, calling yourself into presence and entering spiritual work with clarity and intention.
This is not meant to replace the altar you tend at home. Think of it as a portable point of connection—a way of creating relationship between yourself, Spirit and place wherever you are.
Keep it in your bag when traveling. Bring it into the forest, to the water or to ceremony. Use it before sitting with a client, during meditation or divination, beside your bed while dreaming, or anytime you need to create a small threshold between ordinary time and sacred time.
For the ceremonialist, practitioner, traveler and seeker who knows that an altar is not only a place—it is a relationship we learn to tend.
